Should Keir Starmer U-turn in the row over women's pensions?
He defended the government's refusal to pay compensation to millions of so-called WASPI women who lost out following decisions to increase the state pension age.
That's despite criticism from his own MPs, including Labour icon and Mother of the House of Commons, Diane Abbott, who called the decision a 'betrayal'.
Here's what she had to say in Parliament, and how Starmer responded.
Meanwhile, Tory leader Kemi Badenoch accused Starmer and cabinet members including Angela Rayner and Rachel Reeves of "playing politics" by backing the WASPI women while in opposition.
Starmer did say the government was right to apologise for failing to properly communicate state pension changes to women born in the 1950s, which campaigners say derailed retirement plans.
But Downing Street ruled out a vote on compensation, meaning the decision is likely final.
