Firstly, apologies this video is being uploaded a week late! I haven't had time to focus on editing/uploading all week.
Anyway, I had a nice day along the NYMR as per usual for their annual steam gala event, which this year just so happened to coincide with their 50th anniversary of operation as a heritage railway. I drove to a few different lineside spots in my car which I've listed at the bottom of the description. Visiting from The Bo'ness & Kinneil Railway was their Caledonian Railway 439 Class tank 55189, which has recently been painted in BR Black after carrying Caledonian Blue and original number 419 for many years. The NYMR fitted a blue Scottish number as well for the event. Visiting from The Severn Valley Railway was BR Standard 4 75069. The Great Central Railway provided 9F 92214, a former NYMR resident, which ran alongside the current NYMR 9F 92134. And finally now the only mainline operational A4, 60007 Sir Nigel Gresley, also visited bringing the total number of visitors to 4, plus the 5 home fleet locos in operation on this day. These were J27 65894 (now running in LNER guise as 2392), Schools class 926 'Repton', Standard 4 Tank 80136 (running as 80116) & aformentioned 9F 92134. Black 5 5428 'Eric Treacy' was also running but only on shuttles between Grosmont and Whitby over the mainline section.
