In this video you'll learn how to use REAPER's ReaVerb plugin as a guitar cabinet and microphone to use with a guitar preamp emulation (Le456 in this example)
ReaVerb is a convolution reverb plugin and while it is mainly used for loading reverb impulse responses, it can also load short speaker impulses and apply as a filter to any sound.
The Preamp I'm using here is a free one from LePou, called Le456

This emulates the first tube and EQ section of a real amp.
The impulse response library is ReCabinet v2

This is a collection of impulse responses (short noise bursts) recorded from a variety of guitar speaker cabinets, with choices of power amp tubes, many different microphones and mic positions.
