P Ramkumar, the prime accused in the murder of 24-year-old Infosys employee in Chennai, S Swathi, on Sunday committed suicide inside Puzhal jail by electrocuting himself.
Ramkumar reportedly bit a live wire that was concealed inside a switchboard and was declared brought dead when he was rushed to the hospital.
"He (Ramkumar) committed suicide and the body is now in Royapettah Government Hospital," a top police official told PTI.
