Ireland: Merkel receives standing ovation at final day of EPP Congress
German Chancellor Angela Merkel was greeted with a standing ovation after she spoke at the final day of the European People's Party Congress in Dublin, Friday. She was joined at the two-day event by former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko and leader of the UDAR party, Vitali Klitschko.
After addressing the crowd, the German Chancellor then made her way to Dublin's government buildings for a meeting with Irish Prime Minister, Enda Kenny.
