On Wednesday, President Biden announced that America will be sending Ukraine its Patriot air defense system to help bolster the nation's resistance against the ongoing Russian invasion. The MIM-104 Patriot system is comprised of multiple assets but serves a singular purpose: identifying and intercepting inbound threats ranging from aircraft to both cruise and ballistic missiles.
