Lisa Yasko (Yelyzaveta Yasko) is Ukrainian Master of Public Policy Candidate at Blavatnik School of Government.
Born and raised in Independent Ukraine. Despite coming from the family of musician and ballet performers, since an early age she decided to study politics in order to learn how to make a change in Ukraine. Has Bachelor and Master Degrees in Political Science from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (Ukraine), volunteered for social projects, did an internship in Ukrainian parliament, was a scholar of nationwide scholarship scheme Zavtra.UA for young leaders in Ukraine. Worked at Ukraine Crisis Media Center, where she dealt with providing objective information about Ukraine, reforming government and strategic communications at Presidential Administration of Ukraine and developing and implementing information campaigns. Founded startup Kyiv Music Labs to promote Ukrainian music. Believes in arts as a tool to make a social and political change. Has a great passion for leadership, peace building, conflict resolution, cultural policy, cultural diplomacy, creative economy and performing arts.
