Less than 60 seconds of virtuosity on the guitar: Tárrega's guitar version of Cramer's Etude no. 33.
____________
Johann Baptist Cramer was an English keyboard virtuoso of German descent. He was considered by many - Beethoven among them - one of the finest pianists of his time. His Studio no. 33 (from “Studio per il pianoforte”, Heft II) was arranged for guitar by Francisco Tárrega (1852-1909), who turned it into a dazzling display of virtuosity.
