Don Panchito Hernández (Tlachiquero) and Vicente Franquiz of the Ex-Hacienda Xochuca in Tlaxco, Tlaxcala.
At Ex-Hacienda Xochuca, they are dedicated to the rescue of Pulque. "...the Nectar of the Gods". Pulque is a fundamental and sacred drink in the cultures of the Central Highlands. Since Pre-Hispanic times its uses were multiple and related to Cosmogonic myths; as well as with different deities and rituals, some of which included children and the elderly in their intake.
This Cinema Postcard corresponds to the “Artisan’s POSTAL Series” produced by @naturafilmgroup and @nomadecinema shot in Ex Hacienda Xochuca in the magical town of Tlaxco, Tlax.
