Diving in Komodo - Fish Soup at Batu Bolong | 4K Sony a7s3
Batu Bolong is a pinnacle dive. After the dive guides determined the best place to drop in, we descended down the steep wall of the pinnacle that was extremely busy with activity - the sheer variety of reef fish dancing in the current was quite a sight to behold. The currents here can be at times quite challenging. The direction of the currents varied at different depths, which means that as we do our multi-level dive, and we are at times forced to turn back because the current was too strong for us to move forward. So our route during this dive was dropping as directly down as possible, then zig zag our way back up to safety stop.
