2024 Commencement Speaker: Professor Derek S. Hicks, Associate Professor of Religion and Culture
The Hooding Ceremony is one of the highlights of the School of Divinity experience as graduates gather with family, friends, and the School of Divinity community to celebrate graduation. At the ceremony, graduates receive their masters’ hoods in recognition of completion of requirements for the Master of Divinity degree and will receive their diplomas. Not only is it a recognition of individuals' academic achievement, but also an occasion for communal celebration.
