Hello friends, in this video I am going to show you how to cook Vethalai Rasam (Betel leaves Rasam). Rasam is one of the traditional recipe in South Indian cuisine. No lunch meal ends without Rasam (especially in Tamilnadu).
To enrich the benefits of Rasam and also to do more flavor to it, we are adding Betel leaves (Vetrilai) and Cinnamon. Betel leaves improves digestion and also it is good for cough and cold. It is also rich in Calcium, so adding it to your meal once a while will help you to get the medicinal value of it.
Cinnamon (pattai in tamil) is good at improving immune power so having it during winter season will help you to keep away from cold related diseases.
