"Watchers of the North" is an action-packed new series on APTN, broadcast in both English and Inuktitut language versions following the Canadian Rangers. They're reservists who act as 'the eyes and ears' of the Canadian Armed Forces and as Arctic sovereignty patrols in Canada's coastal and most remote communities. The series focuses on the men and women of Taloyoak and Gjoa Haven, Nunavut during their patrols, training and off-duty lives. The stories go in-depth to portray the complexities and challenges of being a Canadian Ranger in the far north Canadian wilderness.
