Aries II is an apomictic hybrid between two Panicum maximum accesses (P. maximum cv. Aruana x P. maximum cv. Centauro). It is a perennial forage grass with decumbent tussocks, great tillering capacity, narrow hairless leaves and a light green color. The main characteristic of this cultivar is its regrowth capacity after grazing. It is very well received by beef cattle, horses, sheep and goats.
