While negotiations for North Macedonia's accession to the European Union officially began in July 2022, Macedonians seem to be increasingly reluctant to join it. Filip Tosevski, State Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of North Macedonia, discusses the rise of euroscepticism, particularly in the wake of the "French Proposal". He also explains how the European Union could regain ground and confidence in North Macedonia.
He is interviewed by Florent Marciacq, director of the Balkans' Observatory at the Fondation Jean-Jaurès.
