This Aug. Schatz und Söhne 59 clock was given to me by a great aunt when I was young. Its bottom access door was missing and the hairspring had become distorted, preventing the clock from running. It also has a crack across the front glass. I finally decided to get the hairspring repaired, it's very fast even on its slowest setting (it gains around an hour every week) but I love hearing and seeing its movement. I'm not sure whether it would be worth getting the glass replaced.
