So the PU got a new ship this week, sort of, the long awaited F8C Lightning was officially made available to backers - this ship has appeared in game before as an enemy sip during the Ekhart mission chain, and has been stolen by players in the past to make limited use of

But this is the first time that the opportunity has come up to buy the ship directly from the RSI store page. And the release is tied in to an in game event, where players must first find a golden ticket. the ticket can be found by looting at various locations in Stanton, then redeemed at a ship rental kiosk at a landing zone.
