This MCHRI seminar describes how to get involved with investigator-initiated studies, with insight from industry leaders and faculty at Stanford that have extensive experience with such studies. Additionally, this provides resources for how attendees can embark on their own IIS.

Speakers:
• Dr. Ha Tran is the Executive Medical Director at Astellas Pharma, an international pharmaceutical company pioneering a wide range of drugs for numerous conditions. She is also an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at Stanford, straddling the worlds of biotech and medicine in both industry and academia.
• Dr. Greg Enns is a Professor of Pediatrics-Medical Genetics at Stanford, with research interests in screening for, diagnosing, and treating mitochondrial disorders.
