We first discussed credit sweeps in 2014: [ Ссылка ]
We thought the truth would spread, but instead, a lie about the concept of credit sweeps has taken control. Credit sweeps are not real. It's just a nice was to say "fraud."
A credit sweep is a term used to describe credit repair. However, in credit repair, there is a legal method under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (among other laws) to help consumers fix errors in their credit report. Did you notice I said "fix errors" and not "remove negative information." The government is fully aware that the credit bureaus are prone to making mistakes that can harm consumers. They credit consumer protection laws to help you fix those errors. They did not credit those laws so that you can "sweep" your problems away.
Because credit repair is not a silver bullet (it still takes time and energy), the term "credit sweep" gain popularity for two reasons: 1) It sounds great, right? 2) You can actually (and illegally) sweep your credit problems away. This is totally illegal and it works like this:
People file false police reports (among other false documents) to get (accurate) negative information removed from your credit report.
Also, people transfer false information through eOSCAR.
Both are 100% illegal.
There's two forms of credit repair: Illegal. Legal.
Credit repair takes time, according to the law. The cycle for credit disputes (usually called "credit repair") are typically 30 or 45 days. If someone says they can do something faster than that, they are likely not complying with that law.
The good news is that you do not need credit sweeps. Legal credit repair doesn't take THAT much longer than illegal credit sweeps. It's totally not worth it. Just do normal credit repair.
