The New South Wales Health Union has rejected an eleventh hour offer from the state Government to boost paramedic wages.
The deal, which would've seen frontline workers gain a 19 per cent pay rise over four years, was quashed by the HSU who accused the Minn's Government of betraying ambos.
It's prompted warnings from the Health Minister for a potential recalling of Parliament to pass emergency laws preventing paramedics from walking off the job this New Year's Eve.
NSW Health Minister Ryan Park said a strong offer was put to the table despite negotiations over a pay rise for paramedics collapsed.
However, the Union has shot down claims the pay offer is in line with demands they took to the government.
