Installing these on my 2011 IS F. The benefit of this would be better power transfer & a sharper throttle pedal similar to having the sport button pressed already. Will increase traction & eliminate movement in the differential allowing a quicker transfer of energy to the rear wheels.
NVH is not nearly as loud as I thought it would be. You can hear the whine more @ lower speed especially in manual mode. At highway speed it’s pretty much the same. My exhaust drowns most of it out. If you listen really closely you can hear the whine but it’s faint. I think a Figs solid trans mount would amplify the sound in addition to adding its own whine. That’s next on the list.
After driving the car to work & back I can say this… there’s basically no extra vibration while in motion. You will feel like the gas pedal is more like a switch. When you apply the throttle from off throttle you will feel like the car is pushing your whole body forward more abruptly in manual. The torque converter absorbs a lot of the shock while in drive. On decel, completely off throttle you’ll feel that in the drivetrain too but it’s not really a thud or a clunk. It’s hard to describe. Just more of an on off feel. The whine is consistent if you’re hard on throttle thru the gears but not so much normal driving. Feels better in every way to me.
