The Panthers have won their past four playoff games after rallying from a 3-1 deficit to knock off the Boston Bruins in the opening round.
Florida now leads the best-of-7 series 1-0; Game 2 is in Toronto on Thursday night at 7 (TNT).
On Tuesday, the Panthers got goals from Nick Cousins, Sam Bennett, Carter Verhaeghe and Brandon Montour as they never trailed.
Sergei Bobrovsky made 34 saves for his fourth consecutive win.
