London Bus Route 6 is Running between Willesden and Aldwych and it is operated by Metroline. Route 6 is a short route, but a high daytime frequency contributes to a substantial requirement for up to 30 buses in service at any time. It used to run over a longer distance between Kensal Rise and Hackney Wick, but on 14 January 1942 the route was cut back to Kensal Rise from Willesden. It had previously been extended to Leyton at various times, but these were withdrawn on 25 October 1969.
