Make this amazing chocolate spread at home, with only 2 ingredients and a food processor. No added sugar.

This recipe is inspired by one of the most famous chocolateries in Switzerland - Sprungli. I once purchased an overly priced chocolate spread which tasted amazing, but I would not have wanted to continue spending that much on store bought spread. So, I read the ingredients and I decided to give the recipe a try at home. I could not believe the results. The recipe is simple and it has no added oils, such as palm oil or coconut oil.

I used 200 grams of hazelnuts, which I roasted in a cast iron pan from Le Creuset. You can of course use any pan. Also, I used 200 grams of plain milk chocolate, which I melted in a bain marie. Once it cools down, the texture becomes thicker. I would recommend you keep it at room temperature for optimal consistency.

Unfortunately, there are so many chocolate spreads out there filled with palm oil. This is neither good for us, nor for the planet. Fortunately, this is such an easy recipe and you can make it anytime.

Fill some pancakes with this delicious chocolate cream and you have a perfect dessert for the family.

My husband loves this chocolate spread and it is so easy to make.
Bonus: It made for a great sandwich on our weekend trip to the mountains.
