I took off into India's Western Ghats to unravel the mystery of Karnataka. My plan was to get off the beaten tourist track and I sure did accomplish that. I met friendly people, found hidden caves, blue water holes, and even accidentally stumbled across the Channabasaveshwara temple, one of the most sacred places in all of Karnataka.
