A short guide on how single parity protection works with Unraid.
Motivation:
I personally think its good to know how exactly the parity protection in Unraid works. Knowing this helps with understanding Unraids pros and cons as well as the potential data loss situations and operating procedures like "Parity check" etc.
Editing insights:
- Once again I exported this as 8k. For this video I think it makes even more sense than the last as a lot of the content is generated fresh and not a recording from a 2k screen.
- I played around with moving objects a bit and also the spacing of the numbers. It worked fairly well all things considered.
- I ran out of time finishing this video so I had to skip a few "nice to have" editing details towards the end of the video.
