This silver chrome beetle is called Chrysina limbata. This beetle is known for its metallic silver color and was described in 1894. This amazing species of scarab beetle is found exclusively in mid-altitude forests of Costa Rica and western Panama. Adult beetles measure between 24 and 29 millimeters in length. However, we only know so much about this beetle as only the adult stage has been observed."
