(0:13) Side 1 - Side 2 (46:02)
Funkmaster Flex chopping it up live on Hot 97 in New York, taken from the original cassette. Dated as being from June 1996 - though I think this might be 2 sessions from different evenings. Some classics on here, quite a few Swing mash-ups, and a crazy record from Erick Sermon and Too Short ("Fat Gold Chain").

The Daily Beat Drop is an online archive of vinyl records and funky music. We upload at least once a day to celebrate classics from the Hip-Hop era (predominantly the 1970s onwards).
The archive is not for profit, and is an academic resource: a virtual music library and online hub where you can review and discuss the releases of the artists included.
You will find information on each track in the video, with links to artists and historical information in the description box.
Any revenue from Youtube advertising goes to the artist/copyright holder. Please support artists included by buying their music directly from the source! If any artist does not want their music included in the archive, please contact us directly and we will remove it.
