Roundtable: Challenges and opportunities for the European Humanitarian
Response in Ukraine: Lessons from the CSOs on the ground

The purpose of the side event was to establish a space for discussion with
Members of the European Parliament, European Commission officials, representative from Members States, CSO, and NGO in Brussels that gives women-led and youth-led civil society organisations from Ukraine and
neighbouring countries a space showcase positive actions from an
intersectional perspective and, when possible, lessons learnt, especially those with replicability potential, that are bridging the gap of discrimination of certain groups in the humanitarian response and who are facing access and funding challenges in the forefront of their national institutions and of the humanitarian system at large and what they are doing to overcome those
challenges.
