Decimation in Time is an FFT algorithm which is used to calculate DFT easily.

Here I have given very simple explanation of how the butterfly diagram for 2 point, 4 point and 8 point DFT. Also sample problems are explained.


In Decimation in time the lower butteflies are combined to form larger ones.
Aldo here the input is given in bit reversed order and output is obtained in the correct order. I have also didi how to bit reverse the numbers. DFT is calculated for each stages using FFT algorithm. and finally cc combined to get the result.
