We wanted to celebrate Julie in Gothenburg (Sweden) and decided to promote her recent album "Love Me Tender" by playing it on a cassette player in the city centre.
We also put an advert in our local paper, saying that Julie Andrews was to be celebrated on her 50th birthday in Brunnsparken - a city park - on the 1st of October and that we would be handing out sweets.
So, on the day Bert (Bertie) and myself, wearing huge "Julie 50" posters took to the streets of my home town. We had various reactions from the "public". Most people just walked by, some stayed and listened, some didn't think it was Julie but we had had a ball.
The song we used in the video is the single from the album, called "I Still Miss Someone" ("Oh, I'll never get over those blue eyes..." and once you've looked into Julie's blue eyes you'll never forget them.)
