North is an introspective short, surf film / documentary about what it takes to find solitude in this day and age of surfing. No longer is it enough to go traveling somewhere remote, now it seems, you also need to travel some where remote with poor chances of waves. But at the end, sometimes the perfect wave is not all we are seeking in wave riding.

Set during a waved starved southern California summer, we were lucky enough to plan a surf trip north and score some solid swell. Not only did we score some uncrowded waves while the rest of the state was completely flat, we also saw rare conditions at some usually very fickle spots. And more importantly, almost to ourselves.
