Among all the big names in the Israeli Music, young Tamar Rada, the lead singer of “Tamarada”, is making her way to the Israeli cultural stage, while working on her new album.(The Sigdeada Festival for Ethiopian Culture, the Piano Festival and more).
“Her first single signals that the people of the Piano Festival knew what they were doing when they chose to give her a stage in the nearest festival, despite her being anonymous” (Ben Shalev, “Haaretz”)
Tamar Rada represents the integrating next generation of the Ethiopian immigration.The Rimon graduate singer and creator treats her musical roots very naturally and presents the upcoming album, that integrates the influences from home as if they were a trivial matter, and merging correctly, in Hebrew, Ethiopian pop with rhythm and blues, Jazz and soul music.
With her members, Tamarada gave a happy performance, a dozen of fresh songs, soaked with groove and good vibes (even the sad songs had a cheerful rhythm to them) which affirmed her big talent and her being a big promise. (Amos Oren, “Habama").
