Bob Dylan
Like A Rolling Stone (live at Free Trade Hall in Manchester, 1966) Full Performance.
The greatest/most controversial performance in history, Bob Dylan performs "Like A Rolling Stone", the song that forever changed rock and roll and broke the rules of songwriting as we know it. An audience member is heard yelling "Judas!" to symbolize a widely shared anger at Dylan for what they felt was his endeavor to "abandon the folk music community". In a state of artistic liberty and rebellion against their opinions, Dylan is heard turning to his band before starting and saying "Play it fucking loud." This song is off of the "No Direction Home" documentary soundtrack, a film directed by Martin Scorsese.
