Speed (also known as Speed: No Limits) is a Gerstlauer Euro-Fighter located at Oakwood Theme Park in Wales. The ride stands at 115ft tall and features a 90o lift hill. This is followed by a 97o drop where it reaches speeds of up to 59mph and exerts a g-force of up to 4.5g on riders. Despite only featuring 2 inversions (a vertical loop and a heartline roll), which is fewer than on the other Euro-Fighters in the UK (Saw: The Ride at Thorpe Park and Rage at Adventure Island), the coaster is the tallest of its kind in the UK and the tallest, fastest and steepest roller coaster in Wales. Speed receives a lot of criticism with many seeing it as a rough coaster. However, as mentioned in the POV, I personally did not find the ride to be rough and actually found it to be quite smooth! Overall, Speed is a great coaster in my opinion, with the airtime hill being one of the most underrated airtime moments on any coaster I have ever ridden. Oakwood Theme Park is located in the county of Pembrokeshire situated in South Wales.
