Every month for the last 15 years, Miah has used a tampon to control their period. Unfortunately, studies have found toxic chemicals like linked to cancer, allergens and reproductive harm in tampons and other menstrual care products == chemicals like pesticides, phthalates, styrene and acetone! What’s worse, the FDA doesn’t require corporations to test for the harmful chemicals, nor do they require corporations to disclose all ingredients used in these products. And just whose idea was it to make this thing scented? Enough already. These products come into contact with one of the most sensitive and absorbent parts of Miah’s body — Miah has the right to know what ingredients are in their period products, they have the right to safe, affordable options to help control their period health — and so do you! Bottom line: Toxic chemicals don’t belong in menstrual care products. Period.
