Here in NC, we're almost at a transitional period where the water's beginning to warm up. What that means is that the Spanish, Blues, Albies and Bonito are just around the corner. But until then, there's still plenty of Reds and Specks in the Surf. Today I broke the waders back out for the first time since I fished for Specks along the Beach. I'm wading in some of these tidal pools that trap these Drum and Specks until the tide comes back in. Not only does it pass the time, but sometimes it can be as epic as it can get.
