Chiwetel Ejiofor is making his directorial debut in a film he also stars in, it is called The Boy who Harnessed the Wind.
He told ITV News he is keen to tell the rich, diverse voices full of drama and universal appeal.
He also said it was "disappointing" to hear Love Actually co-star Liam Neeson's rape revenge comments.
