Donald #Trump has branded his historic hush-money trial a "sham" as it enters its second day.
Over 50 potential jurors have been dismissed for admitting they could not remain fair and impartial during the #trial of the former US president and the remainder have been subjected to rigorous questioning.
Lawyers are attempting to select 12 New York City jurors to consider Mr Trump's guilt or innocence and are interrogating everything from their news-consumption habits to their previous attendance at Trump rallies.
Mr Trump denies falsifying business records to conceal a hush-money payment to Stormy Daniels, the adult film actress.
The Manhattan District Attorney’s office alleges that Mr Trump directed Michael Cohen, his former lawyer, to pay Ms Daniels $130,000 in exchange for her silence about an alleged sexual encounter that the former president denies took place.
