How does one Flee to Allah by rising above oneself?
It is to seek refuge in Allah from disability, helplessness, laziness and cowardice.
It is integral to ask Allah’s help from self-debilitating weaknesses for evil is in idleness.
In this sense, we asked Sh Shareef, what does it mean to be helpless?
Helplessness refers to not only the physical disability but procrastination and laziness, the disability that you put on yourself.
Have you ever been overwhelmed by all the things you need to do that you go into shut down mode? Mental block and physically incapable of taking actions?
If you have, you will significantly realise how important it is to ask daily from Allah - His help to rise above the limits of yourself, for we may be weak but only with Allah’s help are we able.
