This is just some gameplay of the PS1 version of Star Wars: Dark Forces. I've actually been playing this one a lot lately, so I decided to upload a vid of the game in action.
I'm playing on a PS2 with texture smoothing on, but it doesn't make much of a difference. Those who get motion sickness from early 3D video games, may not want to watch this vid.
I played through the entire game in Medium difficulty, but am currently stuck on the final level (which is the level in this vid). This game isn't playing around. My hat's off to anyone who has beaten this game on Hard, because even the medium difficulty in this game is harder than a lot of other game's hard modes.
Overall, it's a fun game that Star Wars fans with PS1 systems still should check out. The rviews murdered it for it's frame rate, and ugly visuals, but from a gameplay and design perspective, it's a solid oldschool style FPS. The framerate dips quite noticeably at times, but the game never becomes unplayable. It never turns into a slide show.
So see a full playthrough of the game played much more skillfully, check out youtube user elbryan42's channel. He did a full playthrough of the game completing it 100%. It's also his vids of the game in action that made me decide to buy it, and give it a try.

That's also why I uploaded this footage, so I could post it on my review.
NOTE: I messed up on the squishy ceiling, because I go squished.
NOTE NUMBER 2: The original PC version of this game is available on Steam for a mere $5. I have the disk version of it's sequel, but Jedi Knight: Dark Forces 2 (one of my favorite Star Wars games of all time) is also available on Steam. Check them both out for some classic Star Wars gaming examples.
