What's up everybody? MR FOAMER SIMPSON here, back with another sneaker video! First of all big shoutout to my homie Mikkel for the lookout on these! This Kobe IX Low pays homage to the Philippines with some very cool details. The upper draws inspiration from woven bed mats and the outdoor courts that are all over the Philippines. The chrome hits on the tongue, swoosh and heel stitches are paying homage to the Jeepney (a popular vehicle). And the dopest part about the shoes is the translucent outsole which shows a sandal on the bottom, which signifies the Tsinelas that Filipinos commonly wear and will even play basketball in.
