Located in Canadas hotspot, this old house and it's backyard cabins in beautiful Lytton BC, provide a comfortable place for travellers to stay. Situated along the Trans Canada Hwy. at the North end of the Fraser Canyon. Brophy House, built in 1912, overlooks the Fraser River just down from the confluence of the Thompson and Fraser Rivers.
Original building houses the hotelier. Twelve cottage style units surround a luscious green back yard with soft green grass with several large trees for shade. Adirondack chairs and picnic tables are there to sit and watch the trains go by, have a bbq, or just relax in the shade along the edge of the Mighty Fraser directly below.
Old fashioned charm and hospitality. Units all have their own bathroom, cable TV, air conditioning, fridge, coffee maker, phone and free onsite parking and wifi. Units sleep up to 6 people.
The reception area originally housed the post office up until the 1950's and has been partially restored.
Lytton holds the record for having the hottest temperatures in Canada, and because of its climate, the area get the least amount of snow in winter than any other town in the area

Nearby activities: whitewater river rafting, swimming pool, Stein Valley Provincial Park & Botanie Valleys, rock hunting, gold panning and heritage sites close by. Just 40 minutes from Hell's Gate tram.
