I like to save money by making my own wood stain. Store bought stains have drastically increased in price, so now is the time to learn some trade secrets from DIY masters!
This stain is made with steel wool and vinegar and it is my favorite type of wood stain to use. The color and shade will depend on the type of wood you're using. It can be used on pine, cedar, oak, spruce, fir, dark walnut, and more.
Add black tea to make it even darker!
