📍Airside is the newest major shopping mall in Kowloon. At the site of Hong Kong's former airport, Airside is a pleasant place for some leisure shopping. Shops and restaurants here are not pricey in general. The expansive rooftop garden is cozy with a nice panorama of the area.
There is good open space with green and sustainable energy focus within the complex design. There is (will be) a good range of Chinese, Asian and Western eateries, coffee shops, bakeries and food shops along with a good mix of midrange and boutique retailers and service provider shops mixed in with an art gallery (Gate 33 Gallery) as well as several outdoor areas, viewing decks and rooftop spaces. Overall, the design and feel of the mall is pretty good, something that will prove quite interesting to both residents and tourists alike once everything is open and the entire mall is being fully utilised.
Airside is the newest big mall to open up in Hong Kong. It is situated in Concorde Rd in Kai Tak and be accessed directly from the Kai Tak MTR Station. Being new quite a few of the shops have yet to open up yet but from first impressions, this is going to be a nice mall.
