In this video, I figure out how to convert the points and condenser ignition on my 1976 Honda MR175 Elsinore to a Magneto/CDI ignition. I got the coil, CDI box, flywheel and stator from a CR125M (flywheel and stator matching) based on what some people said on some forums, and what do you know, they were right! The hardest part was mounting the coil and CDI box under the tank.
I know this video is not that great with the gopro, but that's the best way for me to film the process of me figuring out how to do this conversion. Maybe when I take everything off the frame again I'll do a more in-depth video of how I mounted the ignition components on the bike. Also, sorry for the mess! It's the only place I have to work on the bike without dragging the bike outside and moving cars.
