To start off the 2022 the Next Gen car has really impressed most NASCAR fans across NASCAR nation. But in a way I think that fans are also kind of jumping the gun a bit on just how good this car is or could be. This is not to say that it is bad, it has been great so far, but more that NASCAR should be focused still on adding new short tracks to the NASCAR Cup Series schedule. This is why the Next Gen is great! But fans need to slow down.
