The Reichstag Building in Berlin is the meeting place of the Bundestag (“Federal Assembly”). It is One of Berlin’s most famous landmarks and its located at the northern end of the Ebertstrasse and near the south bank of the Spree River. The Tiergarten Park is directly west of the building, and the Brandenburg Gate is to the south.
The Reichstag Building was designed by Paul Wallot and was completed in 1894. It was build after the World war 2 and it should symbolize a new goverment.
On october 4, 1990, the Reichstag Building officially became the Bundestags permanent home and with that the new seat for the German Parliament.
