Foundation for Human Rights and Lawyers against Abuse launched the European Union funded Masibambisane - GBVF Free Zones Programme ts week. The programme aims to address the lack of accountability for gender-based violence and femicide at the local level, in 18 selected communities across all nine provinces in South Africa.
