This is a Rhino Grasshopper 3D Tutorial about Galapagos for Evolutionary Solving.
Galapagos which is an Evolutionary Solver, uses a type of Generative Design method. The software users or programmer crafts the algorithm and the program (on its own) will attempt to evolve towards a solution.
Evolutionary Solving is somewhat similar to biological evolution, in the sense that the solutions are progressive refined and gets closer to more and more ‘suitable’ end results. This is potential 4th Industrial Revolution material.
By harnessing the power of an evolutionary solver such as Galapagos, a User can derived better decisions for more optimised solutions based on defined criterias and objectives.
